IRIS HAS UP HER SLEEVE

an MA in Stage Design at the UdK Berlin, DE

a BA in Scenography at La Cambre ENSAV Brussels, BE

a semester in Classical Acting at LAMDA London, UK

a Diploma from De Kleine Akademie Brussels, BE (Lecoq physical theatre training)

Speaks four languages (GR-FR-EN-DE) - five with music

and will make you scream with her skills: her prolonged theatrical, musical and visual arts studies provide her with an all-round experience and knowledge of the theoretical and physical space and rhythm of the stage. Up and down, left and right, atop, above and below, front and back, she likes to move on, jump about, and look from and at the stage from all directions, widening her and your own perspective.

She can make all kinds of things happen: design and build set elements, costumes, masks, props and puppets for theatre and film, and anything else you can imagine.

Her latest work include amongst others (when she's not performing with the FCDU at the WestGermany venue in Berlin) an appearance as Caroline Lamb/Cyrano/herself in Das Helmi's Ur-Oper#1: Ich Fuehls Nicht at BallhausOst, Berlin; stage and costumes for Die Anatomie Eines Hasen, (reprised after the 2022 edition of the WILDWUCHS Festival at the TD Berlin); Tacoma Garage by Corentin Skwara at the Théâtre Royal de Namur, Belgium; Rigor Mortis by Ahmed Ayed and the Collectif Illicium at the Atelier 210 in Brussels; a bunch of short and medium-length films produced by (but not only) the DFFB, the RBB and Arte; a variety of private and promotional events with the communications agency 26zehn in Berlin, etc..

Notably, she realised the stage design for the 2019 UdK Berlin opera production of Angels in America by Peter Éötvös, directed by Isabel Hindersin.

You have a crazy project in mind? You know who to whistle for.
