After Bob Dylan's "Masked and Anonymous"
After the great success of the spatial exploration with Germania of the Academy of Arts in 2015 and our Fantomoj in the rooms of our own institution on Hardenbergstrasse in 2016, the stage design course at the UdK Berlin is returning to the Academy of Arts on Pariser Platz. The UdK Berlin stage design class is based on Bob Dylan's film “masked and anonymous” (2003), which is a mixture of apocalyptic and mystery play with a cast of jugglers, freaks, divas, profit-oriented prophets and a refusing artist messiah an interdisciplinary theater project with the directing courses at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Hanns Eisler University of Music: three visual, musical and dramatic designs show new artistic strategies of young theater professionals.
