Liv Strömquist's book Ich fuehl's nicht (German translation, form Swedish original) is a plea for a love freed from the constraints of consumer society. A new opportunity for Strömquist to analyze and question behavior in love in the age of late capitalism: How can the impulses of the heart be mastered? What to do when you're heartbroken? Why do love stories generally end badly...? And why do some people flutter around incessantly without ever landing?
